Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join its New Orleans, Louisiana office. This full-time position offers the opportunity to engage in complex litigation matters, providing meaningful case responsibility and hands‑on experience alongside accomplished lawyers. Duties Manage assigned litigation matters with increasing responsibility. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and briefs. Assist with written discovery, document review, depositions, and fact development. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal teams. Support hearings, mediations, trial preparation, and other key litigation events. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice in Louisiana or eligible for admission. 2-5 years of litigation experience preferred. Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills. Strong organizational skills and sound judgment. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Louisiana or eligible for admission.
