Title: RN – Oncology (Outpatient)

Location: Los Angeles, California

Duration: Contract Assignment

Schedule: Day Shift | Tuesday – Friday

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to support a busy outpatient oncology clinic. The ideal candidate will have strong oncology clinical knowledge, be highly proficient with Epic EMR, and possess excellent patient care, IV insertion, and injection administration skills. Previous infusion experience is highly preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient setting

• Assess patient conditions and monitor treatment responses

• Administer oncology-related medications and treatments

• Perform IV insertions, injections, and vascular access procedures

• Support infusion services and monitor patients during treatment

• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and medications

• Collaborate with physicians, infusion staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Monitor for adverse reactions and report clinical concerns promptly

• Maintain compliance with oncology care standards and clinic protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License

• Minimum 2 years of Oncology nursing experience

• Current BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)

• ONS/ONCC Certification required

• Epic EMR experience required

• Strong oncology medication and treatment workflow knowledge

• Excellent IV insertion and injection administration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Outpatient Oncology experience

• Infusion nursing experience

• OCN Certification

• Strong patient education and communication skills
