Dental Hygienist - Full Time

Schedule : Tuesday-Friday 8AM-4PM | Some Mondays 8AM-4PM

Responsibilities

As a Dental Hygienist at Neibauer - Dale City, you will:

• Provide preventive dental care and educate patients on oral hygiene.
• Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing.
• Take and review dental x-rays.
• Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Deliver feedback and communicate clearly with patients and team members.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygiene license in Virginia.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply!
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient care and professional growth.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
