What You’ll Do

As a Licensed Psychological Associate at ARC, you’ll play a vital role in supporting children, teens, and adults with special needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting intake consultations to clarify assessment needs.
• Developing tailored clinical batteries for assessments.
• Administering and scoring neuropsychological and psychological tests within the scope of an LPA.
• Writing detailed summaries of patient behavior during testing and data summaries for clinical analysis.
• Providing clear, comprehensive feedback to clients and families under the supervision of a clinical psychologist.
• Assisting with ongoing therapeutic interventions and innovative therapy practices.
• Supervising pre-graduate students, volunteers, and interns.
• Participating in training efforts and attending conferences to enhance your skills.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and maintaining the confidentiality of client information.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• A Master’s Degree or higher in a relevant field.
• A valid Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) credential issued by the TSBEP (LPA Independent Practice preferred).
• At least one year of experience working with special needs populations .
• Proficiency in administering and scoring psychological and neuropsychological tests.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• A proactive mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for working with neurodiverse individuals and conducting therapeutic interventions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Specialized certifications in trauma-focused interventions (e.g., TF-CBT, EMDR) or Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) are a plus.
