Job Title Veterinary Practice Manager – Full Time Job Summary In partnership with the chief of staff, the Practice Manager plays a vital role in the hospital, managing day-to-day operations so the medical team can devote their time to delivering the highest quality veterinary care. You will use your veterinary practice management skills to drive business results and your people leadership skills to develop associates and foster an engaging team environment. Key Responsibilities Interview, hire, and develop associates and evaluate hospital processes. Train associates on Banfield guidelines and the Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care, pet health needs and hospital services. Educate associates on Banfield guidelines and practices. Budget and plan for the hospital. Support daily operations and staff. Schedule associates, coordinate time off and manage continuing education needs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities). At least 3 years of related experience in health care, veterinary profession, service industry, etc., including direct supervisory experience (hiring, associate development, etc.). Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Problem solving and conflict management ability. Leadership and analytical know-how.
