Environmental Engineer

Our team is currently looking for an Environmental Permitting Engineer for one of our clients in the Manufacturing & Technology Industry. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, tracking, and supporting permits, approvals, and regulatory authorizations needed for project execution from early planning through startup, while serving as a key interface among the client, AHJs, regulatory agencies, Engineering, Construction, Environmental, and ES&H teams Responsibilities & Essential Dutie s Develop and maintain project permitting strategies, permit matrices, schedules, and compliance tracking tool s.Identify required environmental, utility, building, fire, hazardous materials, wastewater, and construction permits for semiconductor project s.Coordinate permitting activities between the client, Engineering, Construction, ES&H, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencie s.Serve as the primary interface with AHJs to support permit reviews, inspections, approvals, and closeout activitie s.Evaluate permit requirements, identify critical permitting risks and next steps, and ensure regulatory requirements are incorporated into project plans and schedule s.Support environmental and construction permitting activities through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startu Qualifications (Education, Experience, & Skill s) Professional Engineer (PE) license or applicable environmental certification preferr ed.Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline with 5-8 years of relevant experience, or 9-12 years of equivalent experien ce.Prior experience supporting semiconductor projects in Arizo na.Prior experience supporting permitting and regulatory approvals on semiconductor or large industrial projec ts.Demonstrated experience obtaining, managing, and tracking permits with municipal, state, and federal agenci es.Knowledge of environmental regulations, construction permitting, utility approvals, building codes, and fire code requiremen ts.Experience coordinating across Engineering, Construction, ES&H, client, and regulatory stakeholde rs.Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and permitting ri sks #J-18808-Ljbffr
