Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Environmental Engineer with a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license to lead waste management initiatives within our semiconductor operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and improving waste treatment processes, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and driving continuous improvement in our waste management programs. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee waste management strategies, focusing on hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations (including EPA, OSHA, and state-specific agencies).
• Monitor, evaluate, and optimize waste treatment systems and environmental controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce waste generation and support sustainability initiatives.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports and documentation.
• Conduct environmental risk assessments and audits.
• Provide technical guidance and training to staff regarding waste management standards and practices.
• Lead root-cause analysis of environmental incidents and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proven experience in waste management, preferably within the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
