Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian ClubGolden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club is looking to add team-oriented individuals with a passion for the game of golf and course management.The groundskeeper positions assist the course maintenance staff in day-to-day operations, perform daily course maintenance responsibilities to a high level and incorporate safe work practices in job performance. The potential candidates would be capable of following instructions as given and would adopt the "culture" of the department in behavior, work ethic and appearance. Our team puts a lot of effort into creating a unique development plan to enhance each team member's skills and focus on work-life balance as a key component. The Groundskeepers will work 40 hours a week with every other weekend off.Groundskeeper 1No Experience Needed.Must have a TEAM mentality.This is an ideal position for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude who thrives in a culture that encourages individuals to make decisions independently and learn how to use their time productively.Ability / Willingness to learn new tasks and operate different types of equipment as required.Ability to provide the extra level of detail / cleanliness from the shop area to the golf course.Groundskeeper 2Should have experience as a laborer with appropriate grasp of golf course conditions and standards.Basic knowledge of equipment used on golf courses and for golf course maintenance.Ability to communicate with team members.Must be self-motivated, lead by example, and have a strong attention to detail.Groundskeeper 3The candidate should contain all of the skills and knowledge required to do almost every task on the golf course.Extensive knowledge of golf course equipment as well as the ability to operate machinery at a high level.Consistently promote great leadership characteristics including honesty and integrity, commitment and passion, creativity and innovation, accountability, and inspire teammates.Additional Salary Information:Groundskeeper 1 - $17/hour then a raise to $18/hour after 90 daysGroundskeeper 2 - $19/hourGroundskeeper 3 - $20/hourJob BenefitsHealth, Dental and Vision Insurance availablePaid vacation and holidaysUniformsDaily lunch discountUse of company propertiesDiscount at Golden Ocala and WEC retailers and restaurants
