Job Description Under the direction of the Count Room Supervisor, the incumbent assists in assorting, counting and recording all cash and gaming documents in the Count Room. Responsibilities Assist in assorting, counting and recording cash and gaming documents in the Count Room. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Experience handling money in a computer environment. Proficiency with currency counting equipment and 10‑key adding machine. Strong visual attention and mental concentration for extended periods. Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) with whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to follow standard procedures involving specific steps. Proficiency in operating computers and related software. Physical capability to stand or remain on feet for long periods and lift or push up to 75 pounds. Work Environment Casino environment open 24/7; requires work on any day, including weekends and holidays. Exposure to second‑hand smoke, excessive noise, and general public. Frequent lifting or carrying of weights over 25 pounds, reaching, stooping, squatting, and bending. Physical tasks include standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel; reaching with hands and arms; talking and hearing. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjustability of focus.
