Responsibilities

• Haul Amazon Loads ( primarily no touch freight ) using start of art equipment's and technology, including brand new sleeper cabs .
• Drive long-distance routes that have you spending one night on the road per shift, home every other night, and home for 4 consecutive days after your work week is over.
• Work a minimum of 40 hours per week with higher probability for more hours including overtime, compared to local driving.
• Play an important and respected role in keeping Amazon’s commitment to exceed customer expectations and deliver freight on time and at the right place .
• Navigate using GPS systems to ensure efficient and timely deliveries while maintaining awareness of route conditions and traffic updates.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers, including manual handling tasks, to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
• Deliver freight accurately to designated locations while maintaining professional communication with dispatch teams and customers.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving in various environments.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
• No current CDL suspension or revocation and Clean Motor Vehicle record (MVT) and good DAC report.
• Successfully pass a background check and Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, and safety procedures for truck driving.
• Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time traffic management.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
