Certified Pharmacy Tech - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced pharmacy technician for a contract job where your expertise will directly support pharmacists in delivering exceptional care. In this position, you'll play a vital part in ensuring patients receive the medications they need-by assembling, stocking, and distributing them with precision and care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have State License to Apply
• Prior Pharmacy Experience
• PTCB Preferred
• BLS (AHA)
• Utah Pharmacy Technician License
• Inpatient hospital experience
• IV compounding experience

Assignment Details

• Schedule follows a 7-on, 7-off rotation.
• Wednesday through Friday: 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
• Saturday through Sunday: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
• Monday through Tuesday: 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
• Every other weekend required.
• Holiday coverage required when scheduled week overlaps a holiday.
• Covers inpatient pharmacy and all areas of the hospital.
• Responsibilities include automated dispensing cabinet refills, sterile and nonsterile compounding, hazardous medication compounding, medication delivery to nursing units, and unit-dose preparation.
• Pyxis used for automation.
