Laborer

Laborer Ft. Myers, Fort Myers, FL, US Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer/Crew Member to join our field operations team. In this role, you will support a variety of underground utility construction, maintenance, and repair projects. This is a hands‑on position that requires operating small tools and equipment and working closely with a crew in various weather conditions. What You’ll Do Work with a crew on underground utility construction, maintenance, and repair projects Assist with excavation, site preparation, backfilling, and general construction tasks Operate small tools and equipment (pumps, gas saws, compactors, bobcats, backhoes) Support installation, repair, and inspection of pipelines, drainage systems, and related infrastructure Maintain a safe work environment and follow company safety standards at all times Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Perform general labor duties including loading/unloading materials, cleanup, and jobsite support Other duties as required Required Qualifications Underground utility or construction experience preferred Desire and eagerness to learn a skilled trade Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and reliability Mechanical aptitude Ability to complete and pass a drug screening and background check Willingness to work in all weather conditions Work Schedule Monday – Friday Overtime & weekend availability as needed Perks of the Job Weekly Pay 401(k) + Company Match Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Company-paid life insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth Shenandoah is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce. #J-18808-Ljbffr
