Center Medical Specialist We are seeking an EMT‑B, EMT‑A, Paramedic, or LPN/LVN for our Plasma Donation Center. Sign On Bonus $3,000 Sign On Bonus. Build rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction. Ensure donor and staff confidentiality. Educate donors on potential hazards and general health, providing counseling for unacceptable test results. Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events. Assess histories of illness or medications to ensure continued donor suitability. Assist in employee training and administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program. Qualifications Educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT. Current CPR certification required. Physical requirements: standing or sitting for 2–4 hours per day; bending and twisting of the neck for 1–2 hours per day; frequent hand movements; precise coordinated finger movements; occasional foot movement including squatting or crouching; light lifting up to 15 lbs with a maximum lift of 50 lbs; ability to work in temperatures below 32°F with appropriate PPE. Adequate vision: correctable to 20/30 in one eye and 20/100 in the other. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and listen effectively. Ability to work independently and follow oral or written instructions. Experience working in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids and potential infectious organisms. Comfortable with exposure to electrical equipment and laboratory environments. Location North America, USA, Alabama, Hueytown.
