Phlebotomist III - Floater

Location: Saint Louis, MO

Pay Rate: $28/hr

Employment Type: Contingent (with Potential for Hire)

Schedule: 6:00am–6:00pm

As a float phlebotomist, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring consistent, high-quality patient care across multiple sites. Your expertise and flexibility will directly support timely and accurate diagnostic testing while delivering a positive patient experience.

What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections, including pediatric and geriatric patients

• Travel between multiple locations to provide coverage and support operational needs

• Prepare, label, and process specimens following established procedures

• Verify patient demographic information and ensure accurate specimen labeling with patient confirmation

• Maintain accurate documentation and required records

• Communicate procedures clearly and provide compassionate patient care

• Adhere to all safety, confidentiality, and quality standards

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections

• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Flexibility to travel between locations with reliable transportation and a clean driving record

• Basic computer and data entry skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Ability to meet compliance requirements
