BMW of Salem Service Technician

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 / Flag Hour + Production Bonus. This is a flat rate position. Exact pay will depend on experience at time of hire.

Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Saturdays as needed.

BMW of Salem is seeking a skilled Technician to support our Used Car department. Position Overview

As a skilled Technician dedicated to Used Car operations, you will play a key role in inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing pre-owned vehicles to BMW standards and beyond. This position is ideal for a technician who values consistency, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced dealership environment.

What You'll Do:

• Perform thorough inspections and reconditioning on pre-owned vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues to ensure reliability and safety
• Document repair procedures, findings, and recommendations
• Collaborate with service advisors, parts department, and management
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer and dealership quality standards

Our Ideal Candidate Qualities Include:

• ASE certifications are preferred but not required
• Must have at least 2 years of dealership experience
• European brand experience and certification a plus (BMW experience is preferred but not required)
• Passionate about the brand and eager to pursue a career with us.
• Must demonstrate a commitment to producing quality results while maintaining high flag hours.
• Must be ambitious and a self-starter
• Adept at navigating technology and keeping up to date with industry trends
• Valid Driver's license in good standing.
• Eager and determined to do quality work and earn customers for life
• Attention to detail and follow safety protocols
• Professional in appearance and communication
