Details Work setting is a hospital Family Birth Place unit with 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum beds, and 4 pre/post beds Patient ratios are 1:1 or 2:1 depending on acuity External fetal monitoring equipment is used EMR is Epic Night shift schedule: 3x12, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Floating to the postpartum unit may be required No on-call requirements Weekends required as determined by the facility 13-week contract Requirements Active OK RN license or valid Compact RN license required Required certifications: BLS, C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) — no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment unless documented renewal is scheduled Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience at a hospital delivering 350–400 patients monthly ACLS and PALS are preferred but not required Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs are not accepted) No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months Additional Information Scrub color required: black Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) may be allowed but must be made up during the assignment Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and are subject to a reduced bill rate Local candidates are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at this facility; after that, a minimum 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required American Traveler Job ID #P-704764.
