Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Athens, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:30

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong multi-tasking skills and experience in emergency nursing.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients.
Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health records (EHR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
Current ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting.
