The Position Our bank client is seeking a Commercial Lender based in Dayton, OH. The successful candidate will handle a variety of C&I loans, assist senior officers with larger, more complex loans, and provide customer service as needed. The position offers a salary up to $105K + Bonus and excellent benefits. (This is not a remote role.) Commercial Lender responsibilities include: Developing and managing commercial loan accounts to meet lending requirements and ensure profitability with minimal risk. Soliciting commercial clients and actively seeking new business through calls, referrals, and cross-selling. Maintaining COIs and attending networking events in the geographic area. Generating various commercial and real estate loans. Contributing to deposit growth by cross-selling banking products. Analyzing customer creditworthiness and current loan merits. Reviewing title reports or surveys to identify issues and risks. Assessing financial status, credit, and property evaluations for loan feasibility. Meeting with applicants to gather information and answer questions. Guiding loans through approval and closing processes. Promoting bank products and services, including cross-selling and referrals. Representing the bank in the community through professional and civic involvement. Who Are You? You seek to influence your development and pursue your passions. Seven+ years of lending or credit support experience focusing on business relationships. Proven ability to generate $12MM–$15MM in annual C&I loan production. Credit training and underwriting experience preferred. Experience analyzing financial statements. Knowledge of sales, loan processing, and closing processes. Extensive knowledge of Commercial Banking products, including C&I and Commercial Real Estate loans. Understanding of federal and state banking regulations. Ability to expand loans, relationships, and cross-sell products. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel. The next step is yours.
