Job Summary Senior Technical Program Manager – ensures launches are on schedule and risks are identified and mitigated. With technical expertise, identifies synergies across programs and works with cross‑functional teams (sales, product, engineering, account management) to bring structure to the software delivery process. Seeks opportunities to code, though not expected to code full time. An ideal candidate works back from the customer and structures deliverables by the customer value they provide. Responsibilities Ensure launches are on schedule and risks are identified and mitigated. Identify synergies across programs. Collaborate with functions across sales, product, engineering, account management and others to structure the software delivery process. Seek opportunities to code, though not expected to code full time. Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, customers, operations, and engineers to gather and communicate requirements and prioritize them based on business value, feasibility, and technical constraints. Develop and maintain technical progress against roadmaps, ensuring alignment with product and technology strategy. Work with engineering management to continuously improve software development mechanisms, adhering to the product development life cycle and structured Agile development practices. Measure progress, launch success, and impact to the customer through quantitative and qualitative metrics. Design, develop, test, and deploy features as an engineer, ensuring delivery aligns with product initiatives. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience. 5–8 years of experience as a Senior Technical Program Manager, Technical Product Manager, Engineer, Engineering Manager, or similar role. General understanding of programming languages, including JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Golang, Rust, Ruby, C#, C/C++, and PostgreSQL. Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with peers, management, and product owners. Willingness to learn and grow; demonstrated eagerness to learn new technologies, solve problems, and work with engineers and product owners. Working knowledge of software development techniques, cloud‑native solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and frameworks such as Scrum and Agile. Experience building and managing product roadmaps, establishing product vision, researching markets, gathering requirements, assessing both business and technical risk, and working with product teams. Experience utilizing technology to enhance planning and prioritization and to improve engineering communication with stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience in pharmacy or related field. Understanding of the complexities in the pharmaceutical supply chain. Experience with pharmacy and/or medical claims processing, including NCPDP and X12. Experience working with Jira or similar tools. Experience capturing actionable metrics and measuring success against demonstrable criteria. Additional Physical Job Requirements Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions required to operate a computer that include the wrists, hands and fingers, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 20 pounds. The role also requires the ability to effectively communicate through verbal interactions, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details to perform essential job functions.
