What You'll Do

As a Convenience Store Associate , you'll play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience while keeping store operations running smoothly:

• Provide friendly, fast, and accurate customer service
• Operate POS system / cash register (cash, credit cards, EBT, prepaid cards, lottery, checks)
• Follow all cash handling procedures and company policies
• Maintain compliance with alcohol, tobacco, lottery, and fuel regulations
• Support food safety standards and cleanliness requirements
• Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise displays
• Perform cleaning, merchandising, and daily store tasks
• Assist with maintaining a safe, organized retail environment
• Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in retail, cashiering, customer service, or food service is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and computer/POS skills
• Reliable attendance and flexible availability

Training & Certifications

• TankSmart Certification (Level C) - training provided
