Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Requested Skill Set: Must have : (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role) BLS REQUIRED ACLS REQUIRED MED/TELE – 2 YEARS OF SPECIALTY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 2 YEARS OF HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Experience with the following: Meditech Experience Preferred Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN) Active TX RN License – Temp license are NOT accepted Compact RN License – Active Procedures performed on unit: General Med Surg Initiate IV NG Foley dressing change ADL Patient Experience Required: The RN is responsible for decisions and actions within the domain of nursing practice. Important aspects of this responsibility are the promotion of a safe and therapeutic environment for both the recipients and providers of nursing care; acquisition of specialized knowledge skills and additional formal education to provide specialized care; demonstration and validation of competence in nursing practice; clinical practice consistent with the policies, procedures and standards of this facility; and supervision of other staff as designated within the department. Must be competent in all areas: Patience Experience, AIDET, Bed Side Reporting, Hour Rounding and Service Recovery Stept.
