Hospice AdministratorProvidence Hospice and Palliative Care is a growing division of Providence Life Services, which provides a continuum of healthcare, focused on senior living. Providence Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking a Hospice Administrator, Full Time in St, John, IN and Homer Glen, IL. Split between both offices is a requirement in this position. We are looking for a compassionate Hospice Administrator to join our established, experienced hospice team. We provide exceptional patient centered care to patients and families facing end of life.Schedule Available: Monday - Friday. Mileage Reimbursement is included at $0.76/mile.Benefits:Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Insurance (choice of HMO, BA, PPO, and HSA)Right way Healthcare ManagementWellness Program (reduces medical premiums for enrolled employees and spouse)Guardian Dental Insurance (HMO or PPO) and Guardian Vision InsuranceRetirement 403b with up to 4% employer matchStudent Loan RepaymentOn Demand PaymentPaid Time Off (PTO)(8) Paid HolidaysLongevity BonusEmployee Referral BonusJoin our team and make a difference by providing, dignity, comfort and peace to patients in their final days.Summary of essential job functions:Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Illinois and Indiana Hospice teams.Ensure full compliance with federal, state (Illinois and Indiana), and local regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of clinical and administrative staff.Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to support growth and financial stability.Maintain survey readiness and ensure accreditation standards are consistently met.Ensure appropriate data collection and completes reports as required.Partner with clinical leadership to drive quality outcomes and exceptional patient care.Establish and strengthen relationships with referral sources and community partners, and physicians.Identify opportunities to improve patient satisfaction, and overall performance.Ensure adequate and appropriate staffing.Ensure standards of ethical business and clinical practice are maintained.Uphold organizational standards and supports the mission.Participate in committees as assigned.Other assignments as directed.Requirements:Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) for the State of Indiana. Preferably Licensed in both states of Indiana and Illinois.Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or related field.At least 2 years' of leadership experience in hospice or a similar healthcare setting.Strong knowledge of hospice regulations and compliance requirements.Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and drive results.Solid financial management and budgeting experience.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Driver's license and good driving record.Ability to work on-site at our Homer Glen and St. John offices.Preferred experience with a Medicare-certified hospice agency.Preferred familiarity with EMR systems, preferred Matrix Care.EOE #HIGH1
