If you are dedicated to providing comfort, dignity, and care to patients and families during life's most meaningful moments, we would love to hear from you.Why Join Tender Care Hospice?Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends or evenings required)Paid Time Off (PTO) & Paid HolidaysSupportive and team-oriented environmentTraining and professional development providedOpportunity to make a true difference in the lives of patients and familiesSign-On Bonus Available: Tender Care Hospice is now offering a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus for all newly hired full-time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA).$750 issued after successful completion of the 90-day introductory period.$750 issued after successful completion of 180 days of employment.QualificationsGraduate of a state-certified Nurse's Aide training programIn good standing with the State Board of NursingExperience working with patients facing serious illness or end-of-life care preferredMust embrace the hospice philosophy of comfort, dignity, and compassionCurrent driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation requiredResponsibilitiesWorking under the supervision of the RN Case Manager and/or Patient Care Coordinator, the CNA will:Provide personal care (bathing, feeding, grooming, transferring, vital signs, bed linen and mouth care)Support patients and families with emotional and practical needsMaintain infection control and safety standardsAssist with caregiver/patient teaching and bereavement activities as appropriateMonitor and stock patient supplies at homeDocument patient care accuratelyParticipate in staff meetings and interdisciplinary team collaborationOrientation & TrainingWe provide a comprehensive orientation and ongoing training through in-house sessions, approved seminars, or self-study programs to ensure you feel confident and supported in your role.AccountabilityReports directly to the RN Case Manager and/or Director of Nursing.
