Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant Profession: Physical Therapist Assistant Specialty: Rehab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Experience: 2 years inpatient rehab and PTA experience required License: Oklahoma State License required Certifications: BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: Recent traveler experience preferred Description: The Physical Therapy Assistant's primary function is to perform selected physical therapy procedures and related tasks under the direction and supervision of a registered Physical Therapist. The Assistant will treat patients with modalities and exercise in accordance with the patient's medical needs and an approved treatment plan while understanding their limitations as an assistant. The Assistant will assist in maintaining the department in a neat and orderly manner. The Assistant will complete all documentation of daily notes and discharge data. Patients cared for may include infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Some weekends and holidays may be required.
