ARSIEM is looking for a DevOps Engineer to automate, optimize, and enhance the deployment and management of Bespin cloud engagement kits. These positions focus on building robust CI/CD pipelines, maintaining source control repositories, and implementing infrastructure-as-code practices to ensure consistent, scalable, and stable deployments. This position will support one of our Government clients in Arlington, VA.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated engagement kit deploymentManage source control and code repositories for infrastructure configurationsImplement infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similarAutomate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of cloud resourcesEnhance kit capabilities through automation and optimization initiativesCollaborate with architects and administrators to streamline deployment processesImplement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutionsSupport troubleshooting and performance optimization during active operationsMaintain version control and change management processesDevelop automation scripts and tools to reduce manual effortEnsure consistency and repeatability across engagement kit deploymentsParticipate in security hardening and compliance automation effortsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or High School diploma and 7+ years of directly relevant experience3+ years of experience in DevOps, automation, or software engineering rolesStrong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)Experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)Knowledge of Git and version control best practicesExperience with AWS cloud services and APIsUnderstanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with configuration management and automation toolsStrong understanding of Linux/Unix systemsPreferred QualificationsExperience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS)Knowledge of security automation and compliance-as-codeExperience supporting operational or mission-critical environmentsFamiliarity with agile development methodologiesBackground in software development or systems engineeringExperience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)Desired Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar certificationClearance Requirement: This position requires an Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry on Duty (EOD) Suitability.
