We are currently hiring a Child Development Center Supervisor at the Fort Leonard Wood Army Base in Saint Robert, Missouri. Shift: Full Time Schedule: Monday-Friday Hours: 5:00 pm - 1:30 am Pay rate: $20.60 + FEDERAL BENEFITS Driving: Must have a valid Class E Drivers license. \ Location: Saint Robert, MO.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for overseeing janitorial operations at assigned contract sites while leading and supporting a diverse workforce, including individuals with disabilities. Reporting to the Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager, this position ensures quality service delivery, customer satisfaction, workplace safety, and employee development. The Janitorial Supervisor provides hands-on leadership by training, coaching, and supporting employees and clients in performing janitorial duties while fostering a positive, inclusive, and safety-focused work environment. This role serves as a key liaison between the work crew, management, and contract site representatives to ensure all contract requirements are met efficiently and effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

TEAM LEADERSHIP & SUPERVISION

* Supervise and support employees and clients performing janitorial services at assigned locations. * Train, coach, and mentor staff on job duties, safety procedures, quality standards, and company expectations. * Conduct performance evaluations, assessments, and ongoing performance feedback. * Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, employee development, and disciplinary actions as needed. * Promote a positive company culture built on respect, accountability, teamwork, and inclusion. * Communicate employee, client, and customer concerns to management and recommend solutions when appropriate.

SAFETY & COMPLIANCE

* Ensure all work is performed in accordance with contract requirements, company policies, OSHA regulations, and customer expectations.

• Maintain a safe working environment for employees, clients, and customers.
• Conduct safety training, inspections, and ensure proper use of Personal

Protective Equipment (PPE). * Complete incident and accident reports and implement corrective actions when necessary. * Support the Project Manager with contract administration and operational requirements.

JANITORIAL OPERATIONS

• Assist crews with completing janitorial tasks as needed.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, common areas, offices, break rooms, and other

assigned spaces. * Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, empty trash receptacles, and perform routine cleaning duties. * Maintain cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemical storage areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition. * Ensure all contract services are completed to quality standards and customer expectations.

QUALITY ASSURANCE & CUSTOMER SERVICE

• Perform routine inspections to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
• Address and resolve service deficiencies and customer concerns promptly.
• Communicate contract updates, changes, and expectations to staff in a timely

manner. * Assist with transporting crew members to and from work locations when required. * Maintain strong working relationships with customers and site representatives.

• Complete required monthly and quarterly assessments and documentation.

growth. Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of janitorial experience and at least 1 year

in a supervisory or training role. Solid oral and written communication skills required. * Driving: Must have a valid Class E Driver’s License. Must pass driving history check and Company policy criteria. Must maintain valid driver’s license and be 21 or older to drive.

* Funeral Leave Physical Demands * Sitting: Occasionally sitting in the normal course of office-sedentary type of work * Standing: Frequently standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, and twisting while training crews in dusting, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, removing trash and performing other related janitorial duties. * Hearing, Speaking: Frequently listens and speaks with managers, clients, and employees to communicate instructions, exchange feedback, conduct meetings and communicate regarding contracts. * Seeing: Continually visually alert to monitor employee and client actions, the janitorial equipment, and the area where work is performed to maintain safety and complete janitorial service duties. * Handling: Frequently using hands in grasping, lifting, carrying, wiping, filing, balancing, and squeezing. * Movement: Occasionally bending, reaching, and twisting; occasionally climbing stairs and/or ladders squatting, and kneeling to clean, dust, inspect, remove trash, sweep, and mop. * Lifting: Occasionally lifting, carrying, and pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds of mop buckets and/or trash barrels.
