Job Title: Print Operator (DTF Printers)
Official Shift: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday | 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM EST
Training Shift: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Required initially before transitioning to your official shift)
We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and energetic Print Operator to run our Direct-to-Film (DTF) printers. The ideal candidate brings experience in printing processes (like screen printing and DTF) along with a strong understanding of graphic design principles, color management, and prepress. However, if you are strong, determined, and ready to learn quickly through hands-on training, we want to talk to you!
Mechanical skills and daily troubleshooting will be a major part of this role, so a knack for technology and problem-solving is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Operations: Execute daily print tasks to ensure the timely production and delivery of print jobs.
- Equipment Operation: Set up, run, and perform routine maintenance on DTF printing equipment.
- Quality Control: Follow quality control measures throughout the printing process and maintain accurate records of production output and inventory.
- Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and resolve mechanical or printing issues on the floor to minimize downtime.
- Teamwork: Collaborate closely with teammates to ensure all artwork is handled correctly and production runs smoothly.
Requirements
- Availability to work the Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) training schedule before transitioning to the permanent 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM weekend/weekday shift.
- Experience with quality control processes in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and sharp attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teammates and other departments.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other machinery.
- A dedicated, energetic, and determined work ethic.
Bonus Qualifications
- Strong computer experience—building a PC from components is a huge plus!
- Prior experience with screen printing or advanced color management.
