Weekend Registered Nurse (Part Time) - Medical Nursing

Department: UCHlth Enterprise Float Pool Work Schedule: PRN, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights Responsibilities Provides top-of-scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care Direct care includes Emergency Department level of care up to and including level 1 trauma designation Qualifications Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) 6 months of nursing (RN) experience Registered Nurse – Trauma Nurse Core Course Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Emergency Department Level of Care Includes up to level 1 trauma designation BCEN's certification standards included in evidence based care models Clinical Educators Support Support and guide individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout clinical orientation.
