About the Role:

Join the dedicated team at John M Fish DDS PA in Hildebran, NC as a Dental Hygienist and make a real difference in patients' oral health every day! We're looking for a passionate, skilled professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care in a welcoming, close-knit practice environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and debridement

Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and document patient records accurately

Take and review dental X-rays (radiographs) in compliance with safety standards

Screen patients for oral diseases, including periodontal conditions and oral cancer

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care

Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and dental sealants

Collaborate with the dentist to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans

Requirements:

Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of North Carolina

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Current CPR/BLS certification

Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental radiographs

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented dental office

Experience with dental practice management software is a plus
