Cath Lab Tech in Lake Worth, FL

Take on an exciting opportunity in a dynamic imaging environment specializing in Cardiac Catheterization technology. This contract role requires an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to deliver high-quality patient care and support advanced cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, comfort with the latest imaging equipment, and a collaborative approach in a fast-paced healthcare setting.


Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Participation in on-call rotation

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) accepted
• Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist in an acute care setting
• Strong knowledge of cardiac cath lab procedures and imaging protocols
• Excellent ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists
• Ability to start as soon as possible
• Candidates must reside outside Broward, Dade, and Palm Beach counties

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and effective imaging during cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures, providing immediate response to emergent needs
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and facility protocols
• Document and communicate procedure details, ensuring all records meet regulatory standards
• Support the Cath Lab team with equipment preparation, room turnover, and inventory management
