Nephrologist

Overview

Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital, part of the Corewell Health system, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate transplant nephrologist to join its Transplant Nephrology faculty. The position is based in Royal Oak, Michigan, approximately 30 minutes outside Detroit. The candidate will receive a faculty appointment in the Department of Medicine at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Nephrology with experience in kidney and multi‑organ transplants
• AST/ASN‑accredited Renal Transplant fellowship completion preferred
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and commitment to teamwork
• Unrestricted medical license and DEA registration in Michigan (MD/DO)

• Establish and expand resources and demonstrate leadership within the transplant program

Employment Details

Full‑time (Day shift), 40 hours per week, variable days worked.

Location

Royal Oak, Michigan – medical office building at 3535 W 13Mile Rd., approximately 30 minutes from Detroit.
