This posting reflects an opening for a Nuclear Technologist I and we are seeking candidates for that position. Responsibilities Ensures correct order is obtained, patient is properly identified and prepared for exam, and that clinical history is corroborated and appropriately documented while respecting confidentiality. Utilizes appropriate imaging protocol and optimizes technical factors while maximizing patient safety, optimizing patient care, and applying principles of ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable). Preparing and/or administering, as applicable, medications through new or existing vascular access site as prescribed by a licensed practitioner. Evaluates images for proper positioning and acceptable technical quality and verifies archival storage and/or transfer of data, post processing of data if applicable. Educating and monitoring students and other health care providers. Assembling, calibrating, maintaining, and administering radiopharmaceuticals while complying with standards and as prescribed by a licensed practitioner and under the supervision of an authorized user. Performing hybrid imaging, including PET-CT and SPECT-CT for emission, transmission, attenuation correction, anatomical location and for use in radiation therapy treatment planning when performed within hybrid imaging as prescribed by a licensed practitioner and under the supervision of an authorized user. Performing nuclear medicine and molecular imaging procedures, radiotheranostics or therapies as prescribed by a licensed practitioner and under the supervision of an authorized user. Procuring, identifying, calculating, preparing and/or administering ionizing radiation (radioactive material and computed tomography) and non-ionizing radiation as prescribed by a licensed practitioner and under the supervision of an authorized user. Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures. Position Details Certifications required upon hire: Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) or Registry by the American Registry of Radiology Technologist‑Nuclear Medicine (ARRT‑NM). Education: Graduate from Specialty Training Program‑Radiologic Technology (Required), Bachelor's Degree‑Related Field of Study (Preferred). Experience: Minimum of 5 years related work experience (Required). Certification(s) and License(s): Basic Life Support Certification, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist – NMTCB, Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) – ARRT. Skills: Proficiency in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging, radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration, hybrid imaging techniques, radiation safety compliance, patient care, communication, technical troubleshooting.
