Details Labor and Delivery unit within a 124-bed suburban hospital facility Unit includes 8 L&D beds, 2 ORs, 3 triage beds, 4 high-risk antepartum beds, 25 mother-baby beds, and a 16-bed Level III NICU High-acuity obstetric patient population with approximately 250 deliveries per month Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30 Weekend and holiday coverage required per unit need AWHONN staffing guidelines followed to ensure safe, evidence-based patient ratios 13-week contract Requirements Active IN or Compact RN license required BLS certification required (AHA-issued) ACLS certification required (AHA-issued) NRP and NRP Advanced certifications required (AHA/AAP-issued) Fetal monitoring certification required — AWHONN, Relias, or equivalent program within the past 2 years Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required Two professional references required Copy of Driver's License required for consideration Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Additional Information Recognized as a 2026 High Performing Hospital for Maternity Care by U.S. News & World Report 24/7 in-house support includes OB Anesthesia, OB Hospitalists, Neonatology, and Pediatric Hospitalists Supported by 20+ OB‑GYN providers, Maternal‑Fetal Medicine specialists, and Certified Nurse Midwives The entire third floor of the facility is dedicated to maternity services Local candidates are welcome to apply; candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate COVID vaccination is not required Compensation & Job ID Job ID #P-714266.
