License: LCSW or LPCC
Certifications: Must possess appropriate LPC, LCSW, or LMFT certification or licensing in the state where practice occurs
Must-Have:
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical area
- Thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information
Description:
The successful candidate will conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on a review of available records and clinical interviews.
They will provide treatment to individuals by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on the evaluation of needs and levels of functioning.
Documentation of treatment and evaluation activities will be required in the health care record for each individual seen.
The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address needs.
Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information is essential.
The role will require planning and delivering clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature.
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license unless required by applicable statute.
