Regional Physician & Community Outreach Specialist

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a regional physician and community outreach specialist to build clinical trial recruitment networks across Alabama and Georgia. The role involves extensive field travel, developing relationships with healthcare providers and community organizations, and identifying participant enrollment opportunities for clinical research sites.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, practices, hospital networks, and community leaders across Huntsville, Birmingham, and Atlanta markets
• Conduct regular field visits to physician offices and healthcare organizations to introduce clinical research capabilities and develop referral partnerships
• Support clinical research sites by identifying appropriate patient populations and enrollment opportunities within the region
• Identify, coordinate, and attend community events and partner with advocacy organizations for recruitment and engagement
• Maintain knowledge of enrolling studies and work toward recruitment, enrollment, and retention goals with site teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic/vocational qualification
• 2+ years of relevant experience in related field
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to initiate and cultivate professional relationships
• Comfortable with independent field work and regional travel management
• Experience or comfort engaging with healthcare professionals and physician practices
