Now Hiring: Accounting SpecialistPay: $22–$25/hour, based on experienceLocation: Mooresville, NCPosition: Temporary/Employee Fill-InProStaffing is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist for an excellent opportunity with a growing company in Mooresville!What You’ll Do:The Accounting Specialist will initially focus on customer deductions and Accounts Receivable, with the opportunity to cross-train in Accounts Payable and expand into additional accounting responsibilities.Key responsibilities may include:• Researching and resolving outstanding customer deductions, including pricing discrepancies, returns, shortages, freight claims, discounts, and credits• Posting and applying customer payments• Reconciling customer accounts and researching discrepancies• Following up on outstanding balances• Maintaining accurate Accounts Receivable records• Cross-training in Accounts Payable, including invoice processing and matching invoices to purchase orders/receipts• Assisting with AP discrepancies and payment processing• Supporting reconciliations, journal entries, month-end activities, and other accounting functions as neededWe’re Looking For Someone With:• Previous Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or accounting experience• Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy• Ability to research and resolve account discrepancies• Strong organizational and communication skills• Ability to learn multiple accounting functions and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentInterested Apply today!
