Director of Operational Finance

Our client is hiring for a Director of Operational Finance. This role supports financial strategy and execution for a complex operations environment, partnering closely with operational leaders to drive efficiency, cost control, and informed decision-making.


Responsibilities

• Lead financial oversight for manufacturing and supply chain operations
• Partner closely with operations leaders to improve cost, efficiency, and performance
• Own monthly close, forecasting, and operational financial reporting
• Translate financial data into clear insights to support decision-making
• Oversee budgeting, variance analysis, and operational KPIs
• Support sourcing, vendor management, and cost-reduction initiatives
• Guide capital spending analysis and investment prioritization
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial and operational goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Extensive finance leadership experience in manufacturing or operations
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and operational finance
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel or analytics tools
• Proven ability to partner with non-finance teams
• Strategic thinker with hands-on, execution-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Track record of driving continuous improvement and business results
