Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of Emergency Department experience License: Michigan State License Certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Emergency Department Experience Description: Coordinates total nursing care for patients. Participates in patient and family teaching. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel. Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Recognizes that each patient is a unique individual. Ensures mutual goal setting between the Registered Nurse and the patient. Assures patient rights and privacy are protected. Holds accountability to ethical and professional standards as defined in the ANA Code for Nurses. Adheres to the ANA Nursing's Social Policy Statement. Follows the State Public Health code and the ANA and Specialty Nursing Standards of Clinical Practice. Is accountable for adhering to standards set by regulatory agencies. Requires individual competence in nursing practice. Recognizes and responsibly accepts individual actions and judgments.
