We have 100+ job openings throughout our 30+ locations in Arizona, Nevada, and parts of Eastern California.Join our team today!Position OverviewThe Painter is an entry-level Service Support position designed to support our skilled technicians and service operations while providing an opportunity to build hands-on experience in the heavy equipment industry. In this role, you'll assist the service team by preparing, painting, and finishing heavy equipment and components while working alongside experienced technicians in a shop environment. This position is a great starting point for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys hands-on work, and is interested in developing their skills and growing into a Heavy Equipment Technician role.RequiredAt least six months of related experience in a similar role and environment.Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.Keep safety as a priority in the work environment.Valid driver's license.Excellent client service skills.Own and maintain required personal tools.Strongly PreferredAt least one-year heavy equipment technician experience, preferably in a dealership environment.Caterpillar work experience.Vocational school Degree-DieselIf offered employment, the specific rate of pay and position grade will be determined based on applicable differentials and the candidate's level of experience and skill.Job DetailsShift - 1st/Day ShiftLocation - In-ShopSchedule - Work schedule to be provided by leader.Salary Range - $20.05 - $26.55 Per HourJob SummaryClean, prepare, paint and detail machines, parts, and components.Essential FunctionsPrep machines prior to paint or detail assignment.Paint machines for customers and Empire functions.Detail cabs on machines and components.Maintain equipment for Utility wash rack and Paint shop.Monitor and order supplies for the Utility wash rack and the Paint shop.Detail cabs on machines and or components for equipment for customers or Empire functions.Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies.
