Providence Saint Josephs Hospital Chewelah is seeking an Allied / Tech - Physical Therapy for a travel assignment in Chewelah, Washington. The position is scheduled for a 13-week duration, starting on 08/10/2026 and ending on 11/09/2026. The shift details are 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM, with three shifts per week and a total of 36 scheduled hours. The primary need will be working inpatient therapy at PSJH in Chewelah, but the traveler therapist may float to other facilities based on facility need and ability of therapist (to include facilities in Colville and Spokane).

The position is generally 0.6 FTE, M-F (with flexibility also for Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday). Workday varies based on hospital census. The expected patient ratio is 1:5-10. The hospital highlights include: Critical Access facility with 23 total staff beds. Scrub color is any for RN/Allied. Charting is done through Epic. Parking cost is no fee. The compliance document deadline is Monday prior to start. The last four of SSN RTO must be listed at time of submittal, post submission RTO will NOT be approved. Must request all RTO/specific scheduling requests up-front during submittal. Post submittal/offer RTO may not be considered or granted. Inflexibility beyond contracted schedule and/or RTO may lead to termination of contract and system DNR. Max of one job per submittal. Valid WA or Compact RN license (required at time of submission). Valid Allied license in hand (please ask AM if unsure). 50 mile local radius, Locals are accepted at a lower rate. Return Providence staff must wait 3 months before submitting as traveler. Must include response to the following from the candidate with submission: Have you ever worked at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, on a travel contract, or as registry/per-diem? If yes, please include location and dates worked. References required: 2 references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years during the compliance process and prior to start. Can include Charge RNs/Lead. Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby your contracted facility. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours. No call-in: Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless it is for an agreed-upon interview that has been communicated by AM or PM. Modules are non-billable, average 16 hours spent. Over 20 hours requires PM approval. Modules are completed pre-start, and annually. Time spent on modules is self-reported, completion is recorded in Workramp transcripts.
