Travel EP Lab Tech Role & Responsibilities Assist in electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations, and device implantations within the EP lab. Prepare patients, operate and troubleshoot lab equipment, monitor patient responses, and support cardiac mapping and interventions. Conduct assessments, educate patients and families, administer medications, and provide post-procedure care. Maintain sterile techniques, collaborate with the care team, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Respond to patient changes and assist with equipment setup. Qualifications & Skills One year of recent EP Lab Tech experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills Physical ability to move and handle equipment, and work effectively with a team Proficiency in reading instructions, PC skills, and maintaining focus under pressure Key Duties Perform patient assessments, assist with procedures, monitor cardiac rhythms, respond to patient needs, ensure sterile environment, and support procedural workflow.
