Position Overview Guest Service Captain – Responsible for orchestrating a high‑quality service experience for hotel guests, working alongside coworkers under the direction of the Account Manager. This role involves coordination, administration, and troubleshooting when the manager is not on‑site, and may require making rapid judgment calls in critical situations. Compensation Hourly base pay: $15 per hour plus tips (average $40–$50 per shift). Work Schedule 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday‑Friday. Benefits Accident insurance Critical illness insurance Hospital indemnity insurance Telemedicine benefits 401(k) retirement savings plan (eligible for full‑time and part‑time employees based on length of service and hours worked) Responsibilities Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, client staff and coworkers; greet guests within 30seconds of arrival. Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests; manage vehicle parking and retrieval procedures, ensuring safety and accuracy. Use proper phone etiquette; post up in appropriate areas when not assisting guests. Conduct effective room presentations and deliver bell services; assist guests with check‑ins, directions, taxi arrangements and other inquiries. Maintain detailed knowledge of client facilities, including meeting rooms, parking rates and local attractions. Promote teamwork by leading by example, communicating effectively, and assigning routine roles to coworkers based on the Account Manager’s direction. Process vehicle claim checks: issue after receiving keys, collect before keys are released, complete ticket information, secure keys safely. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and secure handling of customer financial data; provide assistance to guests in a confidential manner. Assist the Account Manager with scheduling, notify associates of changes, and conduct revenue collection from vehicles. Prepare and reconcile daily shift reports and cash drops accurately. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum age 18; must pass criminal background, MVR, and drug screening. Completed Towne Park Wheelchair Safety Training course. Six months of related experience or equivalent education/experience combination. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle. Proficient in standard English (reading, writing, speaking); understand and follow written or oral instructions. Basic math skills: add and subtract three‑digit numbers, multiply/divide using U.S. currency, read 24‑hour time. Ability to work physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 100lb occasionally, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods.
