School Based Therapist

Role Description The School Based Therapist is a full-time, hybrid position located in Raleigh, NC, with the ability to complete some responsibilities from home. In this role, the therapist provides individual and family therapy to students on school campuses, conducts intake assessments, and develops treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with school staff, providing crisis intervention as needed, and maintaining thorough clinical documentation and case management activities. The therapist collaborates with caregivers and community resources to support student progress and participates in meetings, consultation, and supervision to ensure high-quality care. Some administrative work, telehealth sessions, and documentation may be completed remotely. Qualifications Clinical treatment skills in Treatment Planning and Psychology, with the ability to design and implement evidence-informed interventions. Practice experience in Social Work and Case Management, including coordination of services and advocacy for student and family needs. Therapeutic expertise in Family Therapy, with a focus on engaging caregivers and supporting family systems. Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field. Current or eligible licensure in North Carolina (e.g., LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, LCMHCA, LMFT, LMFTA, or equivalent), in good standing. Experience working with children and adolescents in school or community settings, including familiarity with school-based supports. Strong communication skills, cultural responsiveness, and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, basic technology skills for telehealth and electronic documentation, and adherence to ethical and legal standards of practice. #J-18808-Ljbffr Counseling Wellness & Health, PLLC
