Social Worker - Medical Social Worker
CHA Everett Hospital
Licensed Social Worker (LCSW) – Psychiatry
Schedule: M-F 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 7 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Requirements:
- MA Licensed social work license (LCSW) required at time of submission in the state of MA
- Must obtain CANS certification prior to start
- Minimum of 2 years of social work experience
- Experience with older adults and/or working in a psychiatric unit preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide social work services to adults and older adults in a psychiatric setting.
- Conduct assessments to identify needs and develop treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
- Support patients and families through crisis intervention and discharge planning.
Compliance / Notes:
- Weekly orientation required; attend scheduled training on EMR system.
- Flu vaccine required during flu season.
- Must work every other major holiday.
