Controller

Our client is a full-service furniture management company. They seek a Controller to join their Manhattan, NY office. Responsibilities Manage month-end close processes for the parent company and multiple domestic and international subsidiaries Coordinate year-end reviews and statutory audits, including specialized compliance and regulatory examinations Prepare quarterly payroll tax filings and related compliance reporting Review indirect tax filings to ensure accuracy and adherence to applicable regulations Collaborate with operations teams to analyze labor costs, profitability, and operational performance Lead accounting personnel across accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting functions Analyze profit and loss results across multiple entities to identify trends and support decision-making Develop quarterly financial statements and reporting packages for lender and covenant compliance requirements Requirements 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience Open to industry Public, private, or combo Experience with journal entries and reconciliations #J-18808-Ljbffr
