Pediatric Oral Surgeon
Provides pediatric oral surgical care to treat conditions, defects, injuries, and esthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth, jaws, and face within the Seattle Children's Dental Clinic and operating rooms. May diagnose problems of the oral and maxillofacial regions. May perform surgery to improve function or appearance. Provides clinical training and education to oral and maxillofacial surgery residents as an affiliate faculty member of the University of Washington, School of Dentistry.
Required Education and Experience DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine). Advanced training in a oral and maxillofacial surgery program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Advanced Dental Education in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. Board Eligibility or Certification in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. Previous experience in hospital Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. Experience with medically compromised and developmentally delayed pediatric patients. Additional education and/or experience in education, research or business. Required Credentials Licensed Dentist in the State of Washington. Prior to start of employment, must obtain, and maintain in good standing, medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary, except for normal probationary periods due to initial appointment. All medical and allied health professional staff members are provisional for the first year. Any and all medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Children's will terminate automatically upon the termination of the individual's employment at Children's. Termination of employment does not prohibit the individual from seeking medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Children's as a non-employee in any category for which the individual qualifies. Compensation Range:
$337,074.84 - $462,523.63 per year
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
