Production Team MemberWe're seeking dedicated Team Members to join our modular home manufacturing operation. As a Team Member, you'll play a key role in crafting high-quality homes using innovative construction methods, all within a clean, climate-controlled facility. This is an exciting opportunity to learn multiple trades, work in a collaborative team environment, and build a lasting career in modern manufacturing.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute production tasks following standardized work and quality specifications.Work in various production areas such as framing, electrical, plumbing, sheathing, saw operations, finishing, and more.Maintain daily production pace and perform quality checks at each workstation to ensure work meets company standards and building codes.Follow all safety procedures and maintain organized, 5S-compliant work areas.Report production issues or material shortages promptly to your Team Leader.Work collaboratively with team members, support new employees, and contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment.Participate in cross-training, lean manufacturing initiatives, and team improvement projects.Cross TrainingTeam members may be trained and work in any of the following positions based on production needs and individual skill development:Framing – Wall framing, floor systems, roof trusses, structural assemblyElectrical – Rough-in wiring, fixture installation, panel installation, electrical testingPlumbing – Pipe installation, fixture mounting, water system testing, drain assemblySheathing – Wall sheathing, roof decking, subfloor installation, exterior panel installationSaw Operations – Material cutting, component preparation, saw equipment operationFinishing – Drywall installation, taping and mudding, painting, trim installationInsulation – Insulation installation, vapor barrier application, energy efficiency measuresExterior – Siding installation, roofing, windows and doors, exterior trimCabinetry – Cabinet installation, countertop mounting, hardware installationHVAC – Ductwork installation, unit mounting, register installationFinal Assembly – Hardware installation, touch-up, final quality inspection, punch list completionQualificationsBilingual in Spanish (preferred)Previous trades or construction experienceWillingness to learn new skills and be cross-trained in multiple positionsAbility to follow detailed instructions and standardized work proceduresBasic reading and math skills for blueprint reading and measurementsReliable work history demonstrating dependability and attendancePositive attitude, teamwork mindset, and willingness to be cross-trainedPreferred QualificationsExperience in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or other construction tradesLean manufacturing or 5S knowledgeEducation & CredentialsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredForklift certification, OSHA 10/30 preferredCompensation & BenefitsHourly pay of $21.00/hr.Health benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, HSAVacationSick timeHoliday payOwnership of company equity401K Retirement PlanPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods (8-10 hours per shift)Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistanceManual dexterity to operate hand tools, power tools, and equipmentAbility to work at various heights including on ladders and scaffoldingVisual acuity to read measurements, blueprints, and identify quality issuesAbility to work in manufacturing environment with varying temperaturesStamina to maintain productivity throughout full shift/Working ConditionsClimate-controlled manufacturing environment with a focus on comfort and safetyStandard schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00AM-1:30PM with flexibility on start and end timeOvertime and Saturday work may be required during peak production periodsFast-paced production environment with daily targets and quality expectationsTeam-based work structure with collaboration and communication throughout the dayExposure to construction tools, equipment, materials, and manufacturing processesNoise levels requiring hearing protection in certain areasThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) of this position.
