Job Description
Neuro Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Neuro Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in interventional radiology, critical care nursing, and specifically in the management of thrombectomies. Key Responsibilities
- Provide conscious sedation medications and monitor patient responses during procedures.
- Conduct pre-procedural timeouts to ensure patient safety.
- Utilize critical care nursing skills in a busy interventional radiology department.
- Take call shifts as scheduled, providing nursing support on a rotating basis.
- Active Virginia or Compact RN License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification.
- Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record (Radiant module preferred).
- A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in Neuro Interventional Radiology or related fields.
- Proficient in conscious sedation and the management of thrombectomy procedures.
- Travel nursing experience is required.
