Nutrition Services Assistant

Roseville Area Schools vacancies for district wide on-call Nutrition Services Assistants. Roseville Area Schools is dedicated to helping our students learn to love healthy food. Under general supervision, this role completes a variety of tasks in the school kitchen; prepares and serves food, cleans work areas and equipment, operates a point of sales terminal/register, and counts with accuracy. The Nutrition Services Assistant connects with students and makes a difference in the lives of our community's children on a daily basis.

Qualifications: Food handling experience is preferred. MSNA Certification preferred but not required. ServSafe Certification preferred but not required. Work is performed in a commercial kitchen; moderate physical requirements, with risk of burns and cuts. Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving up to 30 pound containers of raw and prepared food, materials and equipment. May require working in a walk in freezer for periods of up to 30 minutes. The district safety training and equipment to all employees.

Compensation: Rate of pay is $17.00 per hour and the shifts range from 3-6 hours. One complimentary meal per shift. This notice of vacancy will be posted until all positions are filled.
