Electrical Controls Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Controls Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain knowledge of the wastewater treatment industry and electrical control manufacturers' products. You will be expected to understand and utilize electrical software such as RSLogix 5000, Modicon, and other PLC, HMI, and VFD configuration software. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and possesses strong technical writing and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of the wastewater treatment industry.
• Develop and maintain familiarity with electrical control manufacturers' products.
• Utilize electrical software including RSLogix 5000, Modicon, and other PLC, HMI, and VFD configuration software.
• Diagnose, repair, and work with electro-mechanical ancillary equipment such as pumps and motors, valves and actuators, flowmeters, and VFDs.
• Use diagnostic equipment such as vibration analyzers, DMM, and other measuring tools to log performance data and troubleshoot industrial instrumentation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $39.00/hr.
